Dan + Catherine Wedding Weekend | Crystal Lake
But what stuck out to us more than all the pretty views and gorgeous florals was Dan and Cath’s hearts. The kind of love Dan and Cath have—for each other and everyone around them—is the kind of love that slows you down, stops you in your tracks, and allows you to sit in every moment with intention.
Dan and Catherine’s entire wedding weekend was filled to the brim with sunshine and joy and all their favorite people together. They kicked off the festivities with a casual and intimate rehearsal dinner to welcome all their friends and family before gathering again the following day for their wedding.
Everything was beautiful and the weather was perfect, but what stuck out to us more than all the pretty views and gorgeous florals was Dan and Cath’s hearts. The kind of love Dan and Cath have—for each other and everyone around them—is the kind of love that slows you down, stops you in your tracks, and allows you to sit in every moment with intention.
It was evident throughout the entire weekend: shown in the way they laughed with their friends, cried during toasts, how Cath held Dan’s face during their first look, or when Dan simply reached for his grandmother’s hand to hold after dinner. The love and care these two have for all their people is so deep and genuine.
It was a joy to witness it all firsthand as we were invited into their celebration and welcomed as friends.

“As every day passes, I love him even more…”

“As every day passes, I love him even more…”
Christiana shared these words about David with me on our very first phone call. She shared their story, from how they met, to their proposal, and shared the vision for her day. I knew just from hearing her on the phone that there day was going to be filled with so much love and joy.
Surrounded by their favorite people in one of their favorite places, David and Christiana’s wedding day celebration was intentional, romantic, and so genuine.
From a first look that calmed all their nerves, to mingling with their guests during cocktail hour, to kicking off the reception with a champagne tower pour, and finally running through the vineyard during golden hour: David and Christiana spend the day hand in hand, taking in every moment together. It was one of those weddings that we never wanted to end.

Dan + Anna | Bayview at Gallagher Farms
Even from inside we could hear the rumbling thunder and heavy rain pounding on the church’s roof during Dan and Anna’s wedding ceremony. It was a quick dash into the trolley, umbrellas in hand, to continue their wedding day on their way to the reception. After the storm roared through, the clouds finally rolled away to reveal the most beautiful view at Bayview Weddings at Gallagher Farms and the sun came out at long last. Dan and Anna were a true testament of embracing every moment on their wedding day and savoring it all.

It was a quick dash into the trolley, umbrellas in hand, to continue their wedding day on their way to the reception. We fully expected Dan and Anna to express their disappointment at the weather, but instead they embraced it and shared a story with us about Dan’s father who had passed. Though he couldn’t be there in person to celebrate them, the rainstorm was a sweet reminder of him and made their wedding day even more special.
