Paul + Aleah | Traverse City Wedding
Settled in the woods overlooking the water sat the charming cottage home that Aleah grew up in. Every corner of the home was filled with character and intention. Curated with antique ornate frames, old books, and the most romantically decorated rooms, it was the perfect setting for Paul and Aleah’s wedding.
When Paul and Aleah reached out, their plans were coming together quickly with a date set only a few weeks out.
The had a dream and vision and it all came to life so beautifully.

Upstairs in her childhood bedroom, Aleah was a Jackie Kennedy inspired vision of a bride. After settling on the perfect earrings and grabbing her bouquet, she came out to the balcony where Paul caught his first glimpse at his bride. Later, beneath a colorful canopy of trees Paul awaited his bride. Her aisle: a stone archway seemingly straight out of a storybook and steps that led down the path to her groom.
To create thoughtful, artful portraits of the two of them in such a beautiful and personal location was a very special privilege. We are so thankful to have been invited to witness and celebrate and be a part of Paul and Aleah’s story.

Harbor Springs Elopement | George + Chelsea
Both George and Chelsea are competitive sailors so it was really important for them to incorporate this in their elopement photos. Their friend took us out in a boat while George and Chelsea sailed beautifully across the water in their stunning sailboat. It was such a fun and unique experience for us and we were so glad to capture something so special to the two of them.
We were so honored to photograph this unique and intimate elopement in Harbor Springs for George and Chelsea. We met the at their house where they were getting ready for their first look. Underneath the willow tree, Chelsea approached her soon to be husband and called out his name. George turned around and breathlessly took his bride in, resulting in the sweetest happy tears between them both. Their pups joined them a few moments later for a couple portraits before we set off for the vows.
Their friend officiated the ceremony for them on the water and behind them, at the end of the dock, sat their sailboat waiting. Afterward, we wrapped up with some portraits at the yacht club before the two of them rode their bikes downtown as they headed toward the restaurant for their intimate dinner for two.
