Their wedding day was an overflow of all these good things. Watching the two of them together and everyone surrounding them, it was clearer than ever that God brought them together and it was always meant to be, Jane and Ben.
I remember when Jane first told me about Ben.
Soon after, I had her over for coffee and we talked about the first time they met. Her eyes lit up as she described their very first date.
Later on, we had the two of them over and talked for hours over homemade pizza and wine. We bonded over our mutual love of coffee, people, and Jesus. Late into the night, as we sat around the dining table, they shared their story with us once again.
Their wedding day was an overflow of all these good things. Watching the two of them together and everyone surrounding them, it was clearer than ever that God brought them together and it was always meant to be, Jane and Ben.

There the guests gathered in the shade of the courtyard in anticipation as Connor and Christine’s son toddled his way excitedly down the aisle to enthusiastic applause from everyone in the crowd. There, held in his dad’s arms, they watched together as the beautiful Christine was walked down the aisle by her own emotional father.
Connor and Christine’s wedding day was filled with raw emotions—from the first look, to the ceremony, to the speeches, and dances.
Set on what was probably the hottest day of the month, Connor and Christine stayed cool amidst the stone walls of Castle Farms to celebrate.

As the sun painted the tree tops with it’s golden light, Connor and Christine took the party inside the Castle with their guests. Here they dined, and danced, and laughed, and celebrated their love amongst their friends and family late into the night.

Bryan and Alexa’s wedding day was a beautiful combination of warmth and whimsy. With an emphasis on nature and florals, Traverse City’s Botanic Garden at Historic Barns Park set the perfect tone for their garden-party themed day. A backdrop of crawling vines and abundant blooms, Bryan and Alexa met for their first look in the walled garden.
Bryan and Alexa as a couple are just like their wedding day: warm, romantic, and full of love— not only for each other, but every single one of their guests. We met them first for their engagement session months previous, and entered into their wedding day with such eager anticipation, where we were once again blown away by their authenticity and kind-heartedness. To know them is to love them and what a JOY it is to know them.
Bryan and Alexa’s wedding day was a beautiful combination of warmth and whimsy. Peeking over the edge of the wall, their closest friends and family cheered them on and the celebration began. Glasses of champagne ushered in their guests to their seats, which curved along the stone floor of their ceremony location—the Labyrinth. Emotions swelled as Alexa traipsed down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband. A promise of forever, an exchange of rings, and an exuberant shout of hurrah from their guests as they were pronounced husband and wife.
The rest of the day could have passed by in a flurry, but Bryan and Alexa made a point to slow down, take every moment in together, and connect with all of their guests. We ended the night in the stunning Cathedral Barn, documenting the most lively dance party including but not limited to: matching heart sunglasses, foam glow sticks, and limbo.
Congratulations B+A—it is an honor to know you and to celebrate you. We’ll be dreaming about your day forever & ever.

We met up with Matt and Lynden in early spring for their engagement session in Glen Haven. They brought their sweet pup along for the adventure and we spent some time wandering around the area, admiring the views, and finally ending on the beach.

They brought their sweet pup along for the adventure and we spent some time wandering around the area, admiring the views, and finally ending on the beach. It was a short but very sweet engagement session as we focused mainly on candids of them interacting and playing with their dog on the beach. As the sun sank lower toward the horizon, Matt and Lynden shared with us all their exciting plans for their upcoming wedding later that year. Spending an evening getting to know a couple at their engagement session makes photographing them again on their wedding day all the more special.

Mark and Erin embraced all the moments on their wedding day. Starting from getting ready with their respective wedding parties in Erin’s parents home and ending with a hazy pink sunset on the beach, they chose to soak in and cherish every moment between.

When Mark and Erin first reached out, we asked them what they were looking for in their wedding photographer. When Erin shared with us that candids were super important to her with a few portraits sprinkled in, we knew we would be a good fit!
After the ceremony and a quick excursion to the Woolsey Airport with their bridal party, Mark and Erin arrived at the whimsical Willowbrook Mill for cocktail hour and reception. There was laughter and happy tears during speeches and dances before Mark and Erin opted for a breath of fresh air down at the water’s edge at the end of the night.

David and Alyssa truly embraced what it means to have FUN at their wedding. David looked quite dapper in his navy suit while Alyssa was stunning in her beautiful lace gown. They met each other in the middle of a quaint little bridge over a small pond in front of their wedding location for their first look.
David and Alyssa got ready with their bridal party in separate areas on BlueBridge property.
David’s groomsmen helped him with his bowtie while Alyssa’s mom and bridesmaids got her into her dress and helped with the final touches.
Finally, it was time for their first look.

David and Alyssa truly embraced what it means to have FUN at their wedding. After some moody sunset portraits by the lake, they returned to their reception ready to DANCE. It was such a fun day and we loved being a part of it!
